Mass will be celebrated in French at Mother of God Church at 5:00pm on the following Sundays:
“Throughout history there have been supernatural apparitions and signs which go to the heart of human events and which, to the surprise of believers and non-believers alike, play their part in the unfolding of history. These manifestations can never contradict the content of faith, and must therefore have their focus in the core of Christ’s proclamation: the Father’s love which leads men and women to conversion and bestows the grace required to abandon oneself to him with filial devotion. This too is the message of Fatima which, with its urgent call to conversion and penance, draws us to the heart of the Gospel.”
The Message of Fatima, Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith
May 13 is the optional memorial of Our Lady of Fatima. October 13 is the anniversary of the sixth apparition by Our Lady of Fatima to the three children and the Miracle of the Sun.
See that you do not despise one of these little ones;
for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father
who is in heaven.
Your parish priest,
The English-speaking community of the Mother of God Church exists to share and celebrate the Good News of Jesus Christ through prayer, fellowship, and service. As an international congregation whose membership is often changing, we offer a supportive faith community where all are welcomed and nourished.
